InPost and Evri Digital Labels: How to Print or Drop Off

Two of the three couriers Vinted uses in the UK are InPost and Evri, and both give you a digital label rather than a traditional printed one. This guide explains what an InPost digital label and an Evri digital label actually are, how to print each one to a 4×6, and when you can skip printing altogether.

What is a digital label?

A digital label is a shipping label delivered to you as a QR code and a PDF, instead of a pre printed sticker. Vinted sends it as an A4 PDF that contains the label plus some instructions. You can either print the label onto a 4×6 and stick it on the parcel, or, at many drop-off points, scan the QR code and let the courier handle the rest.

InPost digital labels

InPost is built around lockers, so its digital label is very flexible.

  • At a locker: you often do not need to print anything. Tap the QR code on the locker screen, drop the parcel in, and you are done. More on that in sending a Vinted order without a printer.
  • If you want a printed label: open the InPost label from Vinted, crop it to a clean 4×6, and print it to your thermal printer.

The InPost label on the Vinted PDF sometimes sits below a block of instructions and can be printed sideways. Crop My Label skips the instructions and turns the label upright automatically, so you get a straight 4×6 with no fiddling.

Evri digital labels

Evri also issues a digital label, but drop-off points vary. Some Evri ParcelShops scan the QR code and print the label for you, while others expect a printed label already on the parcel. It is worth checking your local shop before you go.

To print an Evri label, open it from your Vinted order and crop it to 4×6. The full Evri shipping label is detected wherever it sits on the page and fitted to a single label, centred and upright.

How to print an InPost or Evri label to 4×6

The steps are the same for both couriers:

  1. Open the InPost or Evri label from your Vinted order. It opens as a PDF.
  2. Click Crop My Label. It detects the courier and crops the digital label to a clean 4×6.
  3. Print to your thermal printer, or download the cropped PDF.

Which printer works best?
