Printing Vinted Labels on a Rollo, Zebra or Polono Thermal Printer

Popular 4×6 thermal printers like the Rollo, the Zebra GK420d and the Polono all print Vinted labels well once the page size is right. The problem is rarely the printer. It is the A4 PDF Vinted gives you.

Start with the label, not the printer

Vinted labels arrive on A4. A 4×6 printer will shrink that whole page to fit, so the label ends up tiny, or spills onto a blank second label. Crop the label to a true 4×6 first and most “printer problems” disappear. Crop My Label does this automatically in your browser. For the full flow see how to print Vinted labels.

Settings that work on most 4×6 printers

  • Paper size: 4×6 in (about 100 × 150 mm), set both in the printer preferences and in the browser print dialog.
  • Margins: none or minimum.
  • Scale: 100%, or around 95% if you get a stray second label. A hair of white border keeps everything on one label.
  • Orientation: portrait. If the label comes out sideways, rotate it in the cropped preview rather than in the printer driver.
  • Print quality: the highest your printer offers, because small address text is the first thing to go soft.

Printer notes

Rollo: Rollo printers are popular for Vinted sellers. Choose its 4×6 stock in the print dialog and keep the scale at 100% unless a second label appears.

Zebra GK420d: a favourite in postal use. Make sure the driver’s label size matches your roll, or it can feed extra blank labels.

Polono: works with standard 4×6 drivers. If the driver defaults to another size, set it manually.

Models and drivers differ, so check your printer’s own instructions for anything model specific.

Still printing a blank label?

Almost always it is a size mismatch. Confirm the printer, the driver and the browser dialog all say 4×6, and drop the scale to about 95%. If you are still choosing a printer, see our best label printer for Vinted guide.
